“There are many applications for the APT Power Transducers including plant energy management, conveyors and pump monitoring,” says Philip Gregory, President, NK Technologies. “It’s used to measure the power usage of a single piece of equipment, an area of a plant, or the entire facility. It can detect conveyor jams and overloads, and detect if a drive belt breaks.”
The APT can also detect dry run from clogged pump intake or discharge lines and monitor impeller cavitation and bearing wear.They are housed in a compact DIN mounted case with a low profile that reduces the need for large cabinet depth requirements. Their finger safe terminals are clearly labeled for quick installation.
