The new unit operates as an unmanaged switch in store-and-forward switching mode, and incorporates auto-negotiation, auto-crossing and auto-polarity functions that make it fully ‘plug and play’.
The robust aluminium housing and the wide operating temperature range (from -10°C to +70°C) make the eCon 2160-A ideal for use in industrial environments. Integrated LEDs on each port of the Ethernet switch makes network diagnosis fast and easy.
