An efficient microprocessor controlled gearmotor draws minimal power and features an integrated mechanical override for use during a power failure. An optional microswitch provides feedback on latch status and enables remote monitoring. Multiple mounting configurations and compact size afford easy integration into existing designs, and the latch works with a host of electronic access components including keypads, key fobs, proximity cards and biometric devices. The Light Duty R4-EM is also available in auto re-lock and delayed re-lock versions for added flexibility and convenience.
Project Engineer Cindy Bart adds, “The Light Duty R4-EM is an ideal latch for applications that require concealed, secure access like vending machines, electronic enclosures and medical storage units.”
