For 2008 the courses have been revised reformatted but still with the overall aim of qualifying personnel to conduct full safety check on individual oxy-fuel gas welding systems. The City & Guilds Certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course examination.
Certification courses last two days and Re-certification course last one day. The certification course includes theoretical instruction, including product design, as well as participative practical exercises to highlight potential risks. All candidates receive a detailed test manual and tool kit.
