Most significant among the VOX Power range is the NEVO+ 600 Series which delivers 600 watts of output power without the need for derating at line voltages above 120VAC. This makes the NEVO+ the ultimate power solution for products intended for the global market. Through the implementation of a fan control circuit the NEVO+ reduces cooling fan noise in applications with low ambient sound levels.
Producing 600W from a 600gm, 3”x5”, 1U package the NEVO+ 600 consists of an input module which may be configured in the field with up to 8 isolated output modules. The NEVO+ series carries full UL60950 Ed2 safety approvals and complies with EN61000-3, EN61000-4 and EN550022-B EMC standards, is RoHS compliant and has a 2 year warranty.
Typical applications for the NEVO+ 60 include industrial, instrumentation, medical, high reliability and MIL/COTS systems.
Key features include no line derating above 120W, high power density at 25W/cubic inch, reduced fan noise, high efficiency up to 89%, accurate current sharing, I2C control option, remote current /voltage programming, 5VDC bias supply and a current output signal.
