The consolidated facility includes sales, engineering, development, application support services, production, and shipping. UK operations will continue to provide design, development and sales of resistance welding and micro arc welding products, as well as custom manufacturing systems incorporating welding products.
Consolidating UK operations in a larger facility will increase efficiency and improve customer support through the integration of MacGregor and AMADA MIYACHI EUROPE sales channels. Customers in the Northern Europe region will benefit from a larger sales team, as well as increased engineering and application support resources, including a larger application laboratory.
In addition to strengthening UK operations, bringing the teams together will promote cross selling of the MacGregor brand with the four strong existing AMADA MIYACHI EUROPE brands – MIYACHI, MIYACHI UNITEK, MIYACHI PECO and MIYACHI EAPRO.
