The Dow Corning 702 fluid is used in vapor ejector pumps that attain vacuums of 10-4 or 10-5 torr. The DC 702 diffusion pump fluid is used in electronics, aviation and aerospace. The Silicone-based pump fluid is thermally stable, offering resistance to oxidation, and is chemically inert.
The Dow Corning 702 fluid offers shorter conditioning runs as well as 20%-300% higher pressures than multi-component organic fluids, providing higher gas throughput at the high-pressure end of the pumps’ operating range.
