Both sensor types benefit from Novotechnik’s specially developed contactless non-contacting Hall Effect principle where the orientation of the magnetic field is measured. The ECE-R10 (E1) approval applies to ratiometric output versions with the RS-2800 offering a redundant output.
Both model families offer extremely compact wear-free designs with exceptional performance against extreme environmental conditions such as high temperatures, shock and vibration. Aimed specifically at automotive applications including throttle, EGR valves, transmission gear and accelerator position measurement etc., the RSC-2800 also fulfils measurement solutions for arduous industrial, agricultural, mining, port & marine, and other harsh environment equipment. Both types are also available with many other environmental, mechanical and electrical interfacing options through their respective product ranges.
Full information on the RSC-2800 and RSC-3200 ECE-R10 (E1) approved sensors are available on request to Variohm EuroSensor.
