Glasslook, for which the glass pane is fused into a glass-lined steel rim, benefits from an extremely homogeneous pressure-tension distribution within the entire temperature range and the glass. Similarly with the Fillook system, there is a clear view at all times – and because product only comes into contact with the glass pane and the glassteel only, it does not get contaminated. Compared to other metal-fused sight glasses, (such as Hastelloy, Inconel), Pfaudler’s Glasslook/ Fillook combination offers a far broader application range – and a much higher chemical resistance.
Available in a variety of designs for different application ranges, the Glasslook and Fillook system is also very easy to clean and is made so that condensation runs easily off the sloped cover. Enhanced safety, as well as easier filling and removal of product is also made possible because there are no gaskets.
