Conrad Business Supplies introduces three new electrical installation testers C.A 6113, C.A 6116N and C.A 6117 from Chauvin Arnoux

Conrad Business Supplies has added three new electrical installation testers to its portfolio of specialised test and measurement equipment from Chauvin Arnoux.

Performing all the tests required by the applicable European standards like IEC 60364-6 and boasting 600 V CAT III electrical safety, the testers C.A 6116N and C.A 6117 monitor power, harmonics and waveforms. They each also offer the capability of delivering up to 17 different functions, all of which can be selected using a rotary switch on the front panel, meaning the testers can be conveniently operated when wearing safety gloves.

Suitable for use with any type of neutral system (TT, TN, IT), the testers have coloured terminals to cut down on connection errors and provide resistance, continuity, insulation, earth, loop impedance, current, voltage and frequency measurements.

The units are also ideal for type-A and AC RCD testing and phase rotation/sequence tests, with resolution for loop measurement of 1mΩ. The C.A 6117, which has a built-in fuse table for rapid results estimates, is capable of type-B RCD testing and voltage drop ΔV% measurement.

The C.A 6116N and the C.A 6117 feature colour displays with multi-lingual contextual help and are powered by Lithium-Ion batteries to offer extended operational life.

The two units also incorporate 1,000 memory locations and a USB port for transferring data. All measurements taken can be analysed using ICT software developed specifically for such testers and provided as standard. Measurements can be stored on three levels (customer, location and type) and first-level reports can be generated with ease. The comprehensive DATAVIEW® software (available as an option) can be used to generate customized reports or reports that comply with the applicable standards.

In addition, the entry model C.A 6113 is also available.

Benedikt Sehr, Product Manager, Category Business Supplies at Conrad, said: “These testers are an excellent addition to our range and combine really powerful features with versatility and ease of use. The ability to achieve longer working sessions and to carry out more comprehensive data analysis will make these units a popular choice for our customers.”
