PantherTec expands into workplace safety

PantherTec has officially expanded its SafeCoach technology from the world of professional sports to the workplace.

Following an invitation to the National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Congress & Expo in Denver, the company is introducing SafeCoach to support a new kind of worker: the industrial athlete.

Originally developed for elite sports training, SafeCoach is a wearable feedback system that helps people move safely and efficiently. By detecting risky or inefficient movement patterns and providing instant, real-time feedback through gentle vibrations, SafeCoach helps workers adjust on the spot before injuries occur.

“From professional athletes to industrial athletes, the challenges are remarkably similar: repetitive motion, high physical demand, and constant pressure to perform,” said Dr. Jo Shattuck, CEO of PantherTec. “SafeCoach empowers every worker with personalized coaching to move better, reduce risk, and stay healthy on the job.”

PantherTec is currently launching three pilot programmes with early adopters in:

  • Occupational health clinics
  • Manufacturing and warehouse operations
  • Construction and transportation environments

Each pilot will start by focusing on a few high-risk tasks, collecting motion data, and establishing safety performance metrics before scaling to full dashboard analytics and teamwide implementation.

This expansion represents PantherTec’s commitment to making advanced movement-training technology accessible to frontline workers, helping companies build safer, more productive, and more sustainable workplaces.
