Retractable solar roof manufacturer, dhp Technology, has used Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) plant automation software to reduce time to market. This is said to have halved commissioning efforts giving dhp a market-leading edge in the retractable roofs and skylights market, which is projected to grow to $1.3 billion by 2033.
dhp Technology’s solar roof solutions are used in locations including water treatment plants, logistics hubs, and energy-intensive industries, The lightweight, modular roofs can adapt to increasing energy demands as well as integrating advanced weather station plugins to automatically retract during extreme weather conditions such as hail or snow, ensuring resilience and long-term reliability.
