Schneider Electric adds adi Lean Manufacturing & Design to global integrator network

adi Group’s Lean Manufacturing & Design division has strengthened its decade-long relationship with Schneider Electric by joining the French group’s Alliance Partner Programme as a Registered Alliance Partner system integrator.

Announced in Coventry yesterday, the move formalises a collaboration built around Schneider Electric’s automation technology. The new partnership status recognises adi’s capabilities in motion control, robotic automation, and systems integration for manufacturing clients.

Sam Curson, Business Development Manager at adi Lean Manufacturing & Design, said the accreditation reflected the team’s focus on delivering tailored automation systems that cut production costs, expand operational capabilities, and improve product quality.

Founded in 2011, the division works across the UK manufacturing sector, offering what it describes as an end-to-end engineering service. It takes customer briefs from concept through to building complete production lines in house. Schneider Electric highlighted the firm’s experience with its robotics, collaborative robots, drives, and PLC technology.

Samira El Kassimi, Robotic and Automation Business Development Manager at Schneider Electric, said the Alliance SI Partner Programme aimed to support integrators in delivering smarter and more sustainable automation, adding that adi’s addition to the network would strengthen its UK presence.

Both companies emphasised their investment in vocational training. adi, a Platinum member of The 5% Club, has 11% of its workforce in earn-and-learn roles, with more than 60 apprentices currently on its scheme and a record intake this year. Schneider Electric has also expanded its apprenticeship programme, onboarding more than 50 trainees across the UK and Ireland in an effort to tackle skills shortages in engineering and green energy.

As part of the agreement, adi Lean Manufacturing & Design now appears on Schneider Electric’s global online partner locator as a Registered System Integrator, giving manufacturers worldwide a route to certified support for product expertise and installation.
