PULS to unveil high-efficiency PLANET series at SPS 2025

Munich-based industrial power supply manufacturer PULS is set to unveil a series of new products at the SPS automation trade fair in Nuremberg next month, marking its return after several years.

The company’s centrepiece is the PLANET DIN rail power supply family, which PULS says offers around 30% improvements in efficiency, size, and service life compared with previous three-phase models. User-focused features include active load sharing, an optimised voltage selector, redesigned spring-clamp terminals, and an integrated LED load indicator, all intended to simplify installation and maintenance.

PULS will also broaden its range of IP65 and IP67-rated decentralised power supplies, designed for direct machine integration without control cabinets. New performance classes and enhanced safety features complement the existing 300 W and 500 W models.

In the backup power segment, the company is presenting an expanded portfolio of DC UPS systems and chargers following its acquisition of Adelsystem, offering intelligent buffering for critical applications to safeguard processes and data.

Finally, under its Wiferion unit, PULS will demonstrate wireless charging solutions for automated guided vehicles and mobile robots, using inductive technology for contactless, low-maintenance charging that reduces downtime and increases operational availability.
