Conta-Clip launches modular cable entry system to simplify industrial wiring

Conta-Clip, a German cable management specialist, has unveiled a new modular cable entry system aimed at simplifying and speeding up the installation of cables in control cabinets, enclosures, and machines.

The KDSI-SR-G system allows users to feed cables with or without connectors from the outside to the inside, and to make changes to the installation at any stage.

The design features screwless, horizontally latching frame halves made from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide PA 6.6. Dovetail profiles allow the halves to lock into place without screws, while an integrated TPE gasket provides IP66-rated sealing. The system is compatible with standard cut-outs for 4, 10, 16, and 24-pin heavy-duty connectors, and offers a partitioned 8/16 frame that can accommodate two four-piece inlays.

Conta-Clip said the KDSI-SR-G offers “maximum flexibility with optimised warehousing,” as it can be attached directly to housings, pre-assembled externally, or partially assembled, depending on the customer’s requirements. Accessories such as inlays and sealing elements are compatible with the company’s established modular KDS system.

The system will be on display at the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, from 25th to 27th November 2025.
